Yael Kohen is a sea­soned reporter and edi­tor based in New York City. She is the author of We Killed: The Rise of Women in Amer­i­can Com­e­dy, pub­lished Octo­ber 2012 by Sarah Crich­ton Books, a divi­sion of Far­rar, Straus & Giroux. She is a con­tribut­ing edi­tor at Marie Claire, where she cov­ers issues core to work­ing women, in addi­tion to trends, books, and pop­u­lar cul­ture. Her byline has appeared in New York Mag­a­zine, The New York Dai­ly News, The New York Sun, Salon and The Dai­ly Beast. She is a grad­u­ate of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan. We Killed is her first book.
