Madeleine Wul­fahrt was born in Lon­don and lives in New York. Her work has been fea­tured in pub­li­ca­tions includ­ing The Times Lit­er­ary Sup­ple­ment, MUBI Note­book, and Pen­guin Mod­ern Clas­sics, for whom she wrote the intro­duc­tion to Love’s Work by Gillian Rose. Between 2017 and 2022, she spent time liv­ing in Moscow, Saint Peters­burg, and War­saw, where she worked with a vari­ety of cul­tur­al insti­tu­tions.
