Madeleine Wulfahrt was born in London and lives in New York. Her work has been featured in publications including The Times Literary Supplement, MUBI Notebook, and Penguin Modern Classics, for whom she wrote the introduction to Love’s Work by Gillian Rose. Between 2017 and 2022, she spent time living in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Warsaw, where she worked with a variety of cultural institutions.
