Born in Ukraine in 1960, Eduard Shyfrin came closer to Judaism later in life. With a PhD in Metallurgy and a successful business career, he began considering existential questions, not finding sufficient answers in science. He discussed spirituality with Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar and engaged in study of Torah, Talmud, and Kabbalah. His Torah commentaries have been published on Chabad.org.
